Terms of Service
Effective October 18, 2026
These terms cover two things: using this website, and working with us on a website or software project. Your written quote or agreement spells out the specifics of your project, and it controls if anything here conflicts with it.
01. Who we are
Taylor Made Designs is an assumed business name of Reverent Hosting L.L.C., based in Richland, Indiana ("Taylor Made Designs," "we," "us"). By using this site or our services, you agree to these terms.
02. Using this website
The design, code, and writing on this site belong to Taylor Made Designs. You're welcome to read and share it, but please don't copy it as your own.
Client names, logos, and screenshots shown in our work belong to their owners and appear as examples of projects we've built.
Information on this site is general. Prices, timelines, and scope are set only in a written quote.
03. Quotes and getting started
Every project starts with a written quote describing the scope and price. Work begins once you accept the quote (and pay the deposit, if any). Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we do it.
04. Website services
A website project has two parts:
- Build fee. A one-time fee for the design and build of your site, as quoted.
- Yearly plan. A single annual charge, billed in advance, that covers hosting, SSL, backups, your domain and email as quoted, and routine updates to your site's content.
Larger changes, such as redesigns or new features, are quoted separately.
05. Software services
Software projects are built to a written scope at a fixed build price agreed after discovery. After launch, an ongoing plan covers hosting, monitoring, backups, security updates, and fixes as described in your agreement. Usage-based costs from outside providers, such as text messaging, may be billed as described in your agreement.
06. Payment
Invoices are due within 30 (thirty) of the invoice date. If a payment is more than 40 (thirty) days late, we may pause work or hosting with or without written notice.
07. Your content
You're responsible for having the rights to the text, photos, logos, and other material you give us, and you allow us to use it to build and maintain your project.
08. Ownership
Your site and your code are yours. Once the build fee is paid in full, you own the website files and content we created for you. For software, you own the code written for your project once the build price is paid in full.
General tools, libraries, and building blocks we've made for use across many projects remain ours, and you receive a permanent license to use them as part of your project. Open-source components stay under their own licenses.
Unless you ask us not to, we may show your project in our portfolio.
09. Cancellation and leaving
Either of us can choose not to renew a yearly plan. When you leave:
- You receive a complete copy of your site files, and we help transfer your domain to you.
- Our hosting, monitoring, and management tools stay with us, and we remove their connections from your site before handing it over.
- Analytics accounts we manage are transferred to you or removed from your site.
- Yearly plan fees already paid are non-refundable for the unused months.
10. Outside services
Hosting companies, domain registrars, email and text-message carriers, and payment processors are run by other companies. We choose reliable providers and work to keep your site running, but we're not responsible for their outages or changes. Uptime figures we mention are targets, not guarantees.
11. Limits of liability
We provide this website and our services with care, but without warranties beyond those in your written agreement. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Spencer County, Indiana.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes apply from the effective date shown at the top and don't change a written agreement already in place.
